Mambasa Bush Camp
Mambasa Hutted Camp is situated on the banks of the Tugela, in the heart of the Natal Thornveld, on the Skietdrift road between the Central Drakensberg and Spioenkop Dam. It is 2½ hours from Durban and 4 hours from Gauteng.
Accommodation is in ethnic Zulu beehive huts, a river deck and an A frame which are furnished with beds and mattresses.
ACTIVITIES AT THE CAMP :
- Swimming and tubing (please bring your own tubes)
- Fishing : carp, barbell, scalies / yellowfish
- Hikes : 2 hikes are marked out
- Bird watching
- Volleyball : Bring your own ball
- Foefie slide over the river
- Visits to Historical sites
