Kelvin Grove Resort is a family owned Drakensberg Mountain Resort nestled in the picturesque foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg’s Champagne Valley Area.

Kelvin Grove Resort is a tranquil oasis in a serene mountain setting where you can regain your sanity without the hustle or bustle of city life. At Kelvin Grove Resort we offer camping and caravan facilities with plenty of activities for young and old alike. Wonderful mountain views can be enjoyed from many of the caravan sites, and all the sites have electrical hook-ups that are 10amp. Separate water and drainage facilities are also available to most sites.

We have 4, two bed-roomed, self-catering farm style cottages that can each accommodate up to 6 persons. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom. There are private braai areas for each cottage. Four of the cottages have fireplaces.

We are situated in the Central Drakensberg approximately four hours from Johannesburg and two and a half hours from Durban, in the magnificent Champagne Valley where Cathkin Peak and Champagne mountains can be viewed.

Situated on the golf course we have six spacious freestanding units. We offer a honeymoon suite with a wooden deck, four-poster bed, log fire and spa bath. Our other standard units sleep from two to six people. All units have a full bathroom downstairs. Tee and coffee facilities available.

We offer you complimentary golf and free use of our swimming pool and tennis courts, plus a la carte restaurant and pub facilities in a casual, homely environment.

The picturesque tree-lined course with kikuyu fairways and cynodon greens has six holes over water hazards which include a dams and a river with a small waterfall and swing bridge for those a little more adventurous
